This commendation letter was written and signed by the commanding officer of 92nd Chemical Mortar Battalion to officially thank the 14th CMC for their help to his battalion, both during its training in England and its initial period of combat in France.  The letter is also signed by the commanding officer of the 19th Corps, 9th U.S. Army, which the 92nd was part of.  The 14th was at that time attached to the 1st U.S. Army.
